Net adventure park opens in Ligatne

Tīklu parks, the Baltics’ first net adventure park is now welcoming visitors in a beautiful spot in central Līgatne with views over the Lustūzis cliffs. It’s a great addition to Latvia’s soft adventure and family friendly attraction list.

A maze of nets hang in the trees at a height of three to four metres above ground. Four tons of rope were used to create the maze. Exploring it is a fun experience for visitors both young and old. It’s an ideal activity for birthday celebrations, school trips, teambuilding or wedding festivities.

Guntis Avotins, the man behind the only park of its kind in the Baltics, got the idea from a similar park in the United Kingdom.

The decision to open the park in Līgatne was based on thorough research and the setting. Līgatne has a suitable terrain, scenic views and trees spread out in just the right way.

Visitors are asked to book visits in advance online at The park is open daily from 10:00 to 21:00. The on-site cafe-restaurant Zeit is a good spot for a break before or after the visit.
