In 2007, the historic warehouse district underwent a revival to welcome city guests from near and far in a fresh, new guise. Today, the 18th-century port warehouse has been transformed into a modern design hotel featuring an elegant restaurant and an art gallery. The “Promenade Hotel” is more than just a hotel – it tells a story of distant journeys, narrated by the dark red bricks of the old warehouse, its antique wooden beams, and floorboards. From the hotel windows, ships moored along the harbor canal continue to share their tales of global travels, always returning home in the end.
