In the spring of 2026, for the fourteenth time, Orchestra RIGA invites audiences to the Spring Festival WINDSTREAM. The opening concert features arrangements of songs and instrumental music by Maestro Raimonds Pauls, arranged for Orchestra RIGA and soloists. Raimonds Pauls is the most acclaimed of Latvian composers and pianists, prominent figure in Latvian popular music, best known for his songs, as well as for film scores and choral music.
This concert is a tribute to the Maestro in appreciation of his collaboration with the Orchestra RIGA throughout the years, and a celebration of his rich and diverse creative legacy. The concert is included in the WINDSTREAM 2026 subscription. The WINDSTREAM 2026 Festival is supported by the State Culture Capital Foundation.
