The Livonians and Courlanders are really proud of their traditional dishes. Among them, there is sklandrausis, which has received the EU “Traditional Speciality Guaranteed” designation. The culinary features of the community have been formed by the interaction between the coastal Liv fishermen and the Dundaga hill ploughmen.

Festive fun and delicacies to celebrate the ‘sklandrausis’ - pies made of rye flour with a carrot and potato filling – a Livonian tart with a Latvian taste.
