The main ornament of Akmeņrags is the lighthouse, whose red brick tower rises to a height of 37 meters and was renovated in 1921.
Akmeņrags lighthouse stands out among the rest of Latvian lighthouses for being located in one of the most dangerous places on the Baltic Sea coast. Two beacons light up once every few seconds.
