Riežupe Sand Caves have a 2-kilometer-long underground labyrinth created by human hands. Visitors can see the maze 460 meters long.
It is said that caves have a strange power, but their sand is used for medicinal purposes.
Currently, it is the longest cave system in Latvia, located about 5 kilometers from Kuldiga. The air temperature in the caves is constant all year round: + 8 ° C.
