For the ninth year already, Valmiera is becoming the capital of cycling and cinema lifestyle!
On May 10, cycling and cinema enthusiasts will meet in pop-up cinemas in the unusual places in Valmiera. This year, cinemas will make their home in area of Viesturlaukums - Georga Apiņa Street - the vicinity of the city center. The film program was created in cooperation with the short film festival 2ANNAS.
On May 11, we will go on the CINEMA PEDAL BIKE RIDE, and as part of the festival, there will be a total of 3 routes of different lengths, for different abilities and desires - FAMILY PEDAL (about 10 km), HALF PEDAL (about 25 km) and BIG PEDAL (about 45 km). All routes will start and end in Valmiermuiža Castle Park. The participants will be guided along the routes by an interactive game that will be played on the participants' smartphones. The game map will show both the route of the trip and the checkpoints of the game questions. Thanks to the support of Valmiera Municipality, the festival will be free of charge for visitors. Everyone will have the opportunity to buy festival souvenirs - shirts and the famous Kino Pedal caps.
After the bike ride, all "pedalists" and attendies are invited to join an afterparty in Valmiermuiža!
