Jaunpils Castle

Jaunpils Castle was built in 1301 as a fortress of the Livonian Order, surrounded on three sides by a mill pond and originally inhabited by small units of knights. Only in the 17th century was the Knights' Castle adapted to the comfort of the noble family by creating luxurious apartments.

Guests can stay in one of the Baron’s 4 medieval-style apartments, 4 cozy double rooms and 5 economy, dormitory rooms.

Jaunpils Castle family offers not only to relax on holidays but also to organize beautiful feasts in the medieval and modern style in one of the castle halls, enjoying the castle's special celebration aura and feasting on a festive meal.
