Kuolm randõ / Three Shores is a unique cross-genre world music project that brings together Livonian culture, language, and original music. The program features Livonian poetry by Baiba Damberga, Valts Ernštreits, and Ķempju Kārlis, transformed into music by acclaimed Latvian musicians led by vocalist Elīna Ose.
Blending contemporary composition with the rich heritage of the Livonian people, the concert offers audiences a deeper insight into one of Latvia’s oldest cultural traditions and its endangered language. Music from the project’s debut vinyl release, nominated for the Golden Microphone 2025 awards, will be performed.
The concert takes place in the historic Turaida Medieval Castle Courtyard, where visitors can also climb the castle’s main tower and enjoy spectacular views of the Gauja River Valley.
