To mark the end of the summer season and prepare for the start of the new school year, the Riga International Kite Festival “Fantadroms” will take place in Riga for the first time. This new international cultural event in the urban environment will bring together kite artists and creative teams from various countries.
“Fantadroms” combines art, design, movement, and togetherness, creating a unique experience for visitors of all ages. Throughout the day, the programme will feature demonstrations by professional artists, creative workshops for children and young people, and a variety of other activities.
The festival is conceived as an end-of-summer celebration and a prelude to the new school year, while also strengthening Riga’s international visibility and establishing a new tradition in the Baltic region.
