The goal of the Home Café Days is to promote regional tourism destinations, foster community collaboration, and highlight unique stories characteristic of the region in the context of culinary tourism. The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia organises the initiative in collaboration with LLTA “Lauku ceļotājs.”
Each home café is like a taste stop along this special route. Here, the dishes tell their own stories—about family traditions, local products, and the hosts' creativity. Both familiar and lesser-known flavours come together on the plate, just like on hiking trails—where a single turn reveals a forgotten view or an undiscovered path.
