On July 18, the main event of the Rēzekne Municipality Days will take place in Lendži. Festivities at the event venue will begin at 4:00 p.m. Visitors are invited to “Showcasing the Municipality,” an event designed to introduce them to the municipality’s communities, history, nature, and culture through engaging activities, discussions, and demonstrations. At the same time, activity zones for different age groups will be open, inviting visitors to express themselves creatively, celebrate small garden parties, participate in family activities, and get to know the youth of the Rēzekne Municipality better. The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by a market featuring artisans and home producers, which will also offer a cultural program on the small market stage.
In the evening, a grand concert will take place in Lendži, featuring a performance by the band “Laimas Muzykanti,” artistic groups from the Rēzekne region in the concert performance “Dzymtuo zeme” (based on motifs from Antons Rupainis’ comedy “Dzymtuo zeme”), as well as the bands “Atkala” and “Dzelzs Vilks.” A musical ensemble, to be announced in early July, will also perform. After midnight, the festivities will continue with a disco featuring DJ LEGO.
