Spring is approaching, the snow is retreating, the first sprouts are appearing, and people welcome the Spring Equinox with decorations and joyful celebrations. On March 21 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Spring Equinox will be celebrated with festivities and a market next to the Valmiermuiža Brewery.

Local producers from near and far will gather to offer a wide variety of goods for the festive table, and together people will celebrate the victory of light over darkness with trading, songs, games, and delicious treats. Everyone will have the opportunity to explore traditions and take part in creative workshops.

During the celebration, visitors will also be able to enjoy a special Spring Equinox festive lunch at the Valmiermuiža Beer Kitchen.

The event is organised by the Valmiermuiža Association of Culture, supported by the Valmiermuiža Brewery, Valmiera Municipality, and ZAAO.
