Āgenskalns Market, Riga Central Market, the Motor Museum and the Railway Museum offer unique event venues combining entertainment and educational experiences. These cultural and historical sites have become attractive sites for exhibitions, concerts and social events, allowing visitors to explore the history and culture of Riga.
Āgenskalns Market
Āgenskalns Market is the largest and oldest market in the area and has the status of a national cultural monument. The market’s historic pavilion has undergone renovation, and visitors are invited to see the impressive changes carried out during the restoration. Local farmers, producers and craftsmen gather at the market every day, but various events and flea markets take place in the area on Sundays.

Rooms. For private and public events, premises are available on the 2nd floor of the market for up to 400 people. Event areas can be separated from the market or connected to the general market atmosphere. There is a market courtyard (up to 3,000 people) with a stage, a Greenhouse (up to 60 people), a Youth Station room (up to 40 people).
Excursions. Guided tours of the historic Āgenskalns Market Pavilion can be organised for groups of up to 20 people. In addition to the tour, tastings with the traders, as well as a market sample table at the end of the tour, can be arranged.
Catering. It is possible to organise meals in cooperation with traders and caterers on the 2nd floor.

Riga Central Market
The market opened in 1930, covering an area of 57,000 m2. Riga Central Market has five impressive pavilions, each 20.5 metres high, 35 metres wide and approximately 200 metres long. The market’s architecture incorporates elements of Art Nouveau, pre-war neoclassicism and Art Deco elements in the façade design.

Rooms. In the closed area, the market pavilions have 2 tasting/event areas. The Fish Pavilion has a balcony overlooking the entire pavilion that can accommodate up to 50 people. The Meat Pavilion has a tasting area that can accommodate up to 90 people. The outdoor area is quite spacious and can host events of various sizes – from concerts with several thousand visitors to smaller pop-up events by artists.
Tours. Visitors can tour the spacious basements built under the pavilions – a 2-hectare underground city with main and side passages, where warehouses and freezers were once located. You will also learn how the Central Market pavilions were used during World War II and the Soviet period.
Catering. Meals can be organised in cooperation with local cafes.

Motor Museum
The Riga Motor Museum houses the largest collection of vintage vehicles in the Baltics. The museum exhibits cars, motorcycles and bicycles from the late 19th to the late 20th century, featuring unique vehicles, excellent restoration and information related to significant historical events.

Rooms. The museum facilities are suitable for conferences, corporate events, concerts, and theatre performances.
Conference hall (220 m², up to 150 people);
Exhibition hall (220 m², up to 100 people);
Pedagogical room (50 m², up to 25 people).
The premises are equipped with projection systems that include an electric screen and audio system, wireless audio and video systems, microphones, praesidium spotlights, and exhibition equipment.
Tours. Visitors to the Riga Motor Museum can explore the museum exposition and the histories of its vintage vehicles with a guide. The tour not only provides an opportunity to get acquainted with the museum’s unique vehicles, but also to learn interesting facts about the creation and construction of the museum, car restoration and interior renovation methods, including seat upholstery and wood restoration, various car painting methods and technologies.
Catering. The Riga Motor Museum has a café that offers a special daily menu and lunch offer, as well as restaurant dishes made to order. The offer includes both traditional Latvian dishes and other national flavours. It is also possible to organise a banquet for both corporate and private celebrations.

Railway Museum
The Railway Museum offers insights into the history of the Latvian railway and boasts the largest collection of locomotives, wagons and other railway equipment in the Baltics. In addition to tours, a wide variety of events can be organised on museum premises – from seminars to concerts.

Rooms. The hall (800 m²) can host a classic art exhibition, an exhibition of large sculptures, video projections and installations. The hall is suitable for various types of concerts and corporate events. The stage and chair arrangement can be adapted to the needs of each client. Maximum capacity ~ 800 people. Stage and dance floor rental is possible; 250 chairs are available.
A classic exhibition hall with a gallery system on the wall (130 m²). Free-standing stands can be placed in the room. The room is limited by 4 columns. There is exhibition hall lighting.
The outdoor exhibition can accommodate activities during competitions or other city events, thus demonstrating the integrity and diversity of the urban environment.
Tours. The museum offers not only guided tours, but also the opportunity to take a ride on a trolley.
