In the anniversary year, the festival theme will invite visitors on a journey millions of years into the past – Pasta Island will transform into a place where stories of the Jurassic era come back to life in sand. Internationally acclaimed sculptors will create impressive works of art featuring dinosaurs, ancient sea creatures, and rulers of the skies, revealing the power of nature, struggle, and harmony between life and the surrounding world.
Throughout the day, festival visitors can also enjoy a wide entertainment program – performances for children, foam parties, wooden games, creative workshops by “Jogita Events,” shows by the improvisation theatre “Spiediens,” and other anniversary surprises. In the evening, the season opening concert of the open-air concert hall “Mītava” will take place, featuring popular Latvian artists – Samanta Tīna, the bands “Kautkaili” and “Pienvedēja Piedzīvojumi,” as well as hip-hop artist Fiņķis.
