Latvia offers a wide range of outstanding venues for conferences and business events, combining state-of-the-art indoor facilities and multifunctional meeting spaces with spacious outdoor terraces, landscaped courtyards and picturesque natural surroundings. Event organisers can also choose from unique historic estates and beautifully restored manor houses, which provide not only elegant settings for business sessions but also full-service accommodation and catering. This thoughtfully designed infrastructure makes it easy to combine professional presentations with networking opportunities, team-building activities, coffee breaks and relaxed evening gatherings in the open air – all within a single event programme.

 

Modern Event Venues with Outdoor Spaces

  • RĀMAVA Business Centre offers modern conference facilities, a spacious exhibition hall and more than 10 hectares of outdoor event space. It is an ideal venue for professional forums, B2B exhibitions, product launches, as well as large-scale vehicle and machinery demonstrations. Thanks to its thoughtfully designed layout, the venue can easily accommodate events with multiple parallel zones and activities. Strategically located with convenient access from both Riga city centre and the surrounding regions, the centre also provides ample on-site parking for participants.
  • The University of Latvia Recreation and Conference Centre is set in picturesque Līgatne Parish, approximately one hour’s drive from Riga. The complex comprises six beautifully restored historic buildings offering seminar and conference facilities, as well as accommodation for up to 150 guests. Its extensive outdoor infrastructure is particularly well suited to large-scale events, with capacity for 1,000 to 5,000 participants. The grounds feature a football pitch, and basketball, volleyball and croquet courts, making it easy to combine the formal conference programme with sporting activities and engaging team-building experiences.
  • Turbas Recreation Complex, located in Tīnūži Parish in the Ogre Municipality, offers four versatile venues for seminars, conferences and training events, with capacity for up to 200 guests. The complex’s standout feature is the Valley of Four Winds – a six-hectare outdoor event area designed to host corporate sports events, company retreats and other open-air events for up to 2,000 participants. With on-site accommodation, full-service catering and extensive sports facilities, Turbas makes it easy to combine an intensive business programme with memorable evening activities and overnight stays – all in one location.
  • Porto Resort Hotel & Recreation Complex is located on the shores of Lake Lilaste and offers three distinctive event spaces: the Lake Hall, the Attic Hall and an intimate Observatory Room. The Lake Hall features a spacious terrace overlooking the water and can accommodate up to 70 participants in theatre-style seating or 80 guests for a standing reception. Coffee breaks and meals can be served either indoors or al fresco on the terrace. After the formal programme, guests can make the most of the resort’s extensive leisure facilities, including picnic areas, boat and SUP board hire, as well as a sauna, swimming pool and outdoor hot tub.

 

Venues in Riga with Rooftop and Outdoor Terraces

  • VERDE, a Class A office complex, is located at 1 Roberta Hirša Street in the Skanste neighbourhood. Its conference venue, MEDUS, accommodates up to 60 participants in theatre-style seating or 35 in a classroom layout. Event organisers have access to a high-end projector, projection screen, high-speed wireless internet and fully integrated audiovisual equipment. During the warmer months, the landscaped ground-floor outdoor terrace can be seamlessly combined with the MEDUS and BITE event spaces, creating the perfect setting for coffee breaks and informal networking sessions in the open air.
  • Mercure Hotel Riga Centre, a stylish design hotel located at 101 Elizabetes Street, next to Riga Central Station, offers the bright and spacious Eliza conference room, covering 70 square metres and accommodating up to 60 participants. The venue is equipped with a modern built-in projection screen, projector, high-speed wireless internet and individually controlled air conditioning. During the summer months, the restaurant’s outdoor terrace, located directly next to the conference room, provides an elegant setting for coffee breaks, business lunches or evening receptions.
  • Aston Hotel Riga, an elegant hotel located at 48/50 Brīvības Street, offers two compact 24-square-metre meeting rooms, each ideal for small groups of up to 15 participants. Combined into a single 48-square-metre venue, the space can comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests in a theatre-style layout. The meeting rooms are equipped with large 85-inch smart displays, high-quality audio systems and high-speed wireless internet.   • Konventa Sēta Hotel, located at 9/11 Kalēju Street in Riga Old Town, is set within a beautifully restored complex of 13th-century buildings.   • Rundāle Palace Museum offers a truly distinguished setting for conferences and seminars, with events hosted either in the palace’s magnificent historic halls or in the modern conference centre located within the former stable building. The opulent White Hall and Golden Hall provide an exclusive venue for conferences and corporate events of up to 100 participants. The conference centre also allows organisers to combine the main event hall with an exhibition space and a private courtyard, offering the flexibility to create a dynamic programme that seamlessly blends elegant indoor sessions with activities in the palace’s magnificent French Garden and surrounding grounds.
  • Cēsis Castle Complex, located on Castle Square, offers a variety of venues for conferences, lectures, product launches and formal banquets. Business meetings and seminar sessions can be hosted in the conference hall of the Cēsis History and Art Museum or in the Cēsis Exhibition Hall. Meanwhile, the expansive and picturesque Cēsis Castle Park and the grounds of the medieval castle ruins provide an exceptional setting for large-scale outdoor events, team-building activities and ceremonial occasions, creating a truly unforgettable historic backdrop.

Latvian Manor Houses

  • Krimulda Manor, nestled in Sigulda within the picturesque Gauja River Valley, offers conference facilities on the ground floor of the historic manor house. The main seminar room is seamlessly connected to a lounge and the Celebration Hall, with direct access to a spacious terrace overlooking the iconic Gauja Valley. Boasting breathtaking panoramic views, the terrace provides an exceptional setting for coffee breaks, networking sessions or informal receptions. The event spaces can be easily reconfigured to suit a variety of event formats and are equipped with a projector, projection screen and flip chart. Organisers can also enhance their programme with on-site catering, accommodation, guided historical tours, spa treatments and a wide range of outdoor activities in the surrounding nature park.
  • Kārļamuiža Manor, a charming historic estate in Cēsis Municipality, is located close to the scenic Amata River Valley. For business events and seminars, it offers a 100-square-metre restaurant hall filled with natural light through its large windows. The estate features 15 well-appointed guest rooms, a garden terrace, the beautifully restored Cherry Garden House, as well as a spacious apple orchard and historic landscaped park. The manor’s team provides full-service catering, while room layouts and technical equipment are carefully tailored to meet the specific requirements of each event, ensuring a personalised and seamless experience.
  • Skrunda Manor is an elegantly restored Neoclassical estate in Kuldīga Municipality, offering exceptional facilities for both indoor and outdoor events. Indoors, the manor features a dedicated conference room for up to 40 participants, as well as the spacious Central Hall, which can accommodate up to 200 guests. Smaller manor rooms are also available for breakout sessions and workshops. The estate is surrounded by a picturesque park on the banks of the Venta River, providing a stunning setting for outdoor conferences, presentations and team-building activities. The expansive grounds can accommodate marquees, stages and outdoor seating areas, allowing organisers to create tailor-made open-air events.
