Whether you want to push your physical limits, feel the breath of freedom in a wind tunnel or simply discover the magic of nature via all six senses – Latvia awaits you with open arms and exciting adventures!

Riga and the surrounding area

Riga and its surroundings are like a choose your adventure book, where every page brings new challenges and emotions. Climb trees to test your courage and glimpse the city from the treetops. See the city from a different perspective on a boating trip or a SUP board, enjoying the water and architectural landscape all at once. Those in search of adrenaline can visit the wake park in Zaķusala and swim on city beaches. Team spirit and excitement flourish at laser tag and other team playgrounds. Compete against friends or colleagues, leaving everyday worries behind in a whirlwind of tactics, strategy and adrenaline. If you like to push your limits, the Falkors Bouldering Centre offers climbing walls of various difficulty levels. Each height you reach is a small victory, but the main goal is the joy and strength that comes from movement. You can experience adrenaline in a completely different form at the Wolftrike Drift Hall. Get the drift at high speeds for an adventure that is both challenging and enjoyable, even without previous experience.

An expansive water world awaits you at Līvu Aquaparks, featuring a range of zones for thrill seekers and those in need of relaxation in a SPA atmosphere. Take on a special adventure by organising challenging team-building trips in off-road conditions – sand, mud, steep climbs and descents provide the rush of adrenaline that comes from breaking out of your comfort zone and leaving the beaten track behind. Once you have your fill of thrills, enjoy greater harmony with nature while horseback riding in many places around Riga, for example, at the Agatės and Zirgzandalės farms, or the Dārziņi horse farm. A leisurely trail ride provides restorative leisure and allows you to connect with the surrounding landscape at a unique rhythm.

Vidzeme

In Vidzeme, adventure is all around you. Get a real taste of freedom, take on a challenge and find inspiration. Tree climbing has become closely associated with Vidzeme. The Tarzāns Sigulda Adventure Park offers more than 100 obstacles up to 20 metres high to test your limits. Each stage you overcome is a personal triumph, but the BMX track through the trees provides additional excitement, lending the adventure a thrilling atmosphere. Near Cēsis, the Ozolkalns Adventure Park invites you to enjoy an obstacle course with a view of the Gauja Valley, a fantastic way to immerse yourself in nature. In Ogre, the Giant Trail offers 600 metres of challenges featuring 65 daring elements, including a zipline flight for a totally weightless experience of freedom. Valmiera’s Sajūtu Parks has a rope course and four cable car rides across the river, which intertwine with unique nature trails. The barefoot trail and treetop path will create all new sensations, exposing your soles to the feel of different textures, while your eyes take in sandstone outcrops and the banks of the Gauja River. In this place, every step you take also sends you on an inner journey in search of courage and harmony.

There is also no shortage of water adventures. The Amata and Brasla Rivers offer boating, SUP boarding and adrenaline-filled descents along faster sections. The Gauja is also popular for boating. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the picturesque banks of the Gauja River and relax in the heart of nature. For those who crave adrenaline, pay a visit to Vidzeme off-road tours, where jeeps hurtle along forest roads, over mud and riverbeds, giving you a real taste of the wild.
