Annual basketball tournament in the name of a legendary coach - Alfrēds Krauklis. On 2026, AKCUP or Alfreds Krauklis basketball tournament will take place for the 34th time. This year AKCUP will welcome 233 teams from 9 countries, including the UK, Slovenia and Turkmenistan. For 4 days basketball takes over the city of Riga, happening in 25 different basketball courts through the city. Participants are welcomed with a generous gift basket from youth and adult basketball supporters!
