On this day Jaunpils will become a place where history will come alive, while the 725th anniversary of Jaunpils Castle will be celebrated.
The festival program will offer diverse activities. During the day, visitors will be able to watch breathtaking knightly battles, participate in a medieval costume parade, enjoy poetry performances, and learn about the skills of ancient crafts.
A special festive atmosphere will also be thought of for families with children.
At the end of the evening, festival visitors will be delighted by concerts with Liepāja singing actors "Aģenti" and the legendary group "Otra Puse", followed by a ball with the group "Lauku muzikanti". Meanwhile, at midnight, the sky over Lake Jaunpils will be illuminated by a fireworks display.
