In the spring of 2026, for the fourteenth time, Orchestra RIGA invites audiences to the Spring Festival WINDSTREAM. At the festival’s closing concert, the internationally acclaimed conductor and composer Óscar Navarro has been invited to collaborate with the Orchestra RIGA. The programme features Navarro’s original compositions for violin (violinist Pilar Rubio) and wind orchestra: the pasodoble Andrés Contrabandista, the overture Centenarius, and the works Latent Emotions and Alí y Cántara.
