Dita Krenberga and Dārta Tisenkopfa-Muselli in the concert “SOLSTICE SONATA”
Welcoming the Fourth Sunday of Advent, flautist Dita Krenberga and harpist Dārta Tisenkopfa–Muselli will visit the spire of Jelgava Holy Trinity Church Tower with a special concert. The musicians invite listeners to spend the shortest day of the year in a unique atmosphere closer to the heavens, enjoying the refined interplay of chamber music for flute and harp. The concert will feature works by Nino Rota, Bach, Philippe Gaubert, Gaetano Donizetti, Marc Berthomieu, and others. Dita Krenberga and Dārta Tisenkopfa-Muselli have been performing as a duo since 2022, their first collaboration being a program created for the “Winter Chamber Music” festival. So far, their duo has focused on 19th- and 20th-century French and Italian chamber music, and they have also performed Mozart’s Double Concerto in C major. The concert will take place on the 9th-floor observation deck of the Jelgava Holy Trinity Church Tower. Please note: The observation deck is not accessible by wheelchair. A seat is guaranteed with each ticket, but seats are not numbered, so they can only be chosen upon arrival at the concert.
