I. Liepa particularly emphasises the city’s good location: “Cēsis is located in a prime location - surrounded by the Gauja National Park, it is within easy reach of Riga (less than an hour and a half), Tartu (two and a half hours) and Valmiera (only 35 minutes away). You can easily get here by public bus and train.”

I. Liepa points out that the city’s small size is actually an advantage for business event participants. “Cēsis is small, but that’s its biggest advantage. Everything you need is within walking distance – conference rooms, accommodation, entertainment options, cosy cafes and elegant restaurants, allowing you to enjoy the charm of Cēsis in a leisurely atmosphere. And when you want to feel the touch of nature, the nearest hiking trails are only 3 km away, allowing you to enjoy the magic of the Gauja National Park,” says I. Liepa.

Concert Hall “Cēsis” is a unique multifunctional cultural centre of national and regional importance. The concert hall harmoniously coexists with the historical and the modern. The Great Hall boasts a totally unique balcony, which surrounds the entire hall and stage, forming a closed oval. The hall can host concerts, theatre performances, dance performances, as well as conferences and social events. The ground floor has a convenient and quickly configurable; this arrangement is perfect for banquets and balls. When renting the Great Hall, guests also have access to the concert hall’s first-floor lobby and the second-floor hall with an exit to the balcony.

Cēsis Castle Complex

The residential house of the Cēsis Castle Complex, or the New Castle, was built around 1761 and is located in the very centre of the city – today the Cēsis Castle Complex. Event participants have the opportunity to organise seminars and conferences, team-building events, company meetings, board meetings or any other group gathering in the historical environment, enjoying various theatrical programmes, excursions and concerts.

Žagarkalns Complex

In Žagarkalns, there are well-equipped rooms for seminars and social events. In winter, a work event or celebration can be combined with skiing and snowboarding, while in summer there is an opportunity to go for a walk along the picturesque Cīrulīši nature trails, which begin right at the foot of Žagarkalns. H.E. Vanadziņš. Northern Restaurant offers its beautiful premises for both ceremonial events and seminars. In addition, all types of catering can be provided, from coffee breaks to 5-course dinners. Space Exploration Centre

Seminar rooms in the unique Space Exploration Centre are modern and adaptable to various needs – suitable for conferences, seminars, training sessions and meetings.
