Large feast, joyful songs and fast dances, the year’s shortest night spent by a bonfire, mysterious rituals and even some love pleasures – all that and lots more is what describes Summer Solstice celebration in Latvia, celebrated since ancient times by honouring century old traditions. To prepare yourself for the celebration – to learn about traditions and to learn Līgo songs, to buy tasty Jāņi beer, cheese and other goods, Valmiermuiža invites to the pre-Summer Solstice event.
