Unusual event venues: the National Library of Latvia, H2O 6, Fantadroms
Riga is home to unusual and multifunctional event venues that offer ample opportunities for organising seminars, conferences and other events. In this article, we will look at three venues with unique environments and equipment – the National Library of Latvia, H2O 6 and the Fantadroms conference centre. The descriptions will provide practical information that will allow you to plan and implement events safely and effectively.
Latvian National Library
Since 2014, the Latvian National Library or “Castle of Light” has been housed in an architecturally expressive building overlooking the Daugava River, right next to the Old Town of Riga. The library building is one of the most important cultural buildings in Latvia in the 21st century. The infrastructure allows the library not only to provide basic services, but also to ensure a wide range of activities, including the rental of multifunctional premises, creating unique and creative synergies.
Ziedoņa Hall is one of the most beautiful event venues in Riga. The hall’s equipment and excellent acoustics make it an ideal place for concerts, film screenings, conferences, lectures and performances:

Atrium is the most spacious part of the building. Filled with natural light, with especially high ceilings, it provides the opportunity to organise large-scale conferences, concerts and high-level receptions:

Kore at a height of 63 metres enables you to enjoy a 360-degree panorama of Riga. The Kore premises have two floors available to guests – the 11th floor is suitable for events, while the 12th floor offers a cosy relaxation and conversation area. The premises are perfectly suited for opening ceremonies, receptions, product presentations, press conferences, weddings, concerts, etc.:

H2O 6
The H2O 6 district is located on the Zunda Canal, where Āgenskalns meets Dzirciems in a modern and creative environment, which forms one of Riga’s most modern districts. Here, space, equipment and furniture rental are available for both creative projects and events with a capacity of 10 to 1200 guests. The premises are easily adaptable to events of any size and nature – from individual photo shoots and master classes to large-scale conferences or festivals. The multifunctional halls are available in banquet, theatre, reception and classroom layouts:

Fantadroms
Fantadroms is a modern and unique event venue that offers multifunctional, equipped and easily adaptable spaces for various events – from conferences and corporate events to concerts, exhibitions and private celebrations. It is located close to the city centre, has a total area of 2700 m2 with a public area of 1900 m2, a ceiling height of 6.3 m, and a capacity of up to 1000 people.
